If you've shopped for furniture outside the UK, the Small Double probably isn't a size you recognise — and there's a real reason for that.

Why It's Genuinely UK-Specific

At 120 x 190cm, the Small Double sits between a Single (90cm) and a full Double (135cm). It doesn't really exist as a standard size outside the UK.

Who It's Actually For

The Small Double genuinely suits two different situations: a solo sleeper who finds a Single too narrow but doesn't need a full Double, or a snug shared room where a full Double would feel oversized but a Single feels too tight for occasional double occupancy.

An Honest Note on Availability in Our Range

How It Compares to the Alternatives
